A Houston company is scheduled to launch next month its mobile app designed for customers at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Cursus Technologies Inc., which was founded in 2014, selected Austin for its Grab application launch. It connects users to airport restaurants and retail stores as well as airline loyalty point programs. It also enables on-demand mobile ordering with airport restaurants.
Cursus Technologies selected ABIA because of the concentration of tech savvy consumers in Austin, spokesman Mark Brinkerhoff said.
“They are our target users,” he said. “If it’s successful in Austin it’s likely to be successful in San Francisco and Boston and places like that.”
